Drug intelligence / Profile preview
LK101 is a personalized neoantigen-targeted cancer vaccine developed by Likang Life Sciences. It is a dendritic cell (DC)-based mRNA vaccine that combines the advantages of mRNA technology and dendritic cell therapy by transducing mRNA encoding patient-specific tumor antigen targets into dendritic cells. This approach aims to elicit specific T cell responses against tumor neoantigens, providing a highly individualized immunotherapy for cancer patients. The vaccine has demonstrated good safety and tolerability in early clinical studies, with activation of anti-tumor immune responses observed in all treated patients. LK101 represents the first personalized neoantigen mRNA vaccine from China to enter clinical trials and receive IND approval from both Chinese and US regulatory authorities[1][2][4][5].
