Drug intelligence / Profile preview
LK101 + tislelizumab is an investigational combination immunotherapy consisting of LK101, a personalized neoantigen-targeted mRNA-loaded dendritic cell (DC) vaccine, and tislelizumab (Tevimbra), a humanized IgG4 monoclonal antibody targeting programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1). Developed by Likang Life Sciences in collaboration with BeiGene, the combination is designed to synergistically enhance anti-tumor immune responses. LK101 is custom-manufactured for each patient by transfecting autologous dendritic cells with mRNA encoding up to 30 patient-specific tumor neoantigens, which primes neoantigen-specific T-cell responses. Tislelizumab blocks the interaction of PD-1 with its ligands PD-L1 and PD-L2, thereby relieving T-cell inhibition. The combination is primarily being evaluated as a first-line maintenance therapy for patients with locally advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and extensive-stage small cell lung cancer (ES-SCLC).
