Overview

LM-101 is a humanized monoclonal antibody that targets signal-regulatory protein alpha (SIRPα; CD172a), specifically binding to both V1 and V2 isoforms expressed on macrophages and dendritic cells. By blocking SIRPα, it acts as an immune checkpoint inhibitor, enabling phagocytosis of tumor cells and exhibiting antineoplastic activity. Preclinical studies have shown optimal safety profiles and promising anti-tumor effects in animal models. In phase 1/2 clinical trials for advanced malignancies—including solid tumors and relapsed/refractory lymphoma—LM-101 demonstrated an excellent safety profile with no dose-limiting toxicities observed up to the highest tested doses. Early clinical results indicate complete or partial responses in some patients with advanced cancers. The drug is being developed by LaNova Medicines[1][2][3][4][5].
