LM-24C5 is a bispecific monoclonal antibody designed to target both carcinoembryonic antigen-related cell adhesion molecule 5 (CEACAM5) on tumor cells and the costimulatory receptor 4-1BB (also known as CD137) on T cells. By binding simultaneously to CEACAM5 and 4-1BB, LM-24C5 redirects and activates T cells specifically at the site of CEACAM5-positive tumors, enhancing anti-tumor immune responses. This mechanism positions it as a novel immunotherapy for cancers expressing CEACAM5, such as colorectal cancer and other solid tumors. The drug is being developed by LaNova Medicines Limited and is currently in early-phase clinical trials for advanced solid tumors[3][7][8].
