LM-306 is a novel antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) targeting interleukin-13 receptor alpha 2 (IL-13Rα2), developed by LaNova Medicines. IL-13Rα2 is a tumor-associated antigen overexpressed in various cancers, including glioma and melanoma, and is associated with increased tumor invasiveness and metastases. LM-306 consists of a monoclonal antibody (LM-106) conjugated to a cytotoxic payload. Preclinical studies have shown that LM-306 possesses high binding affinity to human and cynomolgus IL-13Rα2, potent in vitro cytotoxicity, and significant in vivo anti-tumor activity in melanoma models. The drug also demonstrates efficient internalization and antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity (ADCC).
