Lm-WT1 is an investigational cancer immunotherapy based on a live attenuated Listeria monocytogenes vector engineered to express the Wilms tumor 1 (WT1) antigen, a transcription factor that is overexpressed in many hematologic and solid malignancies and associated with poor prognosis.[3][9][11] By delivering WT1 intracellularly via the Listeria platform, the therapy is designed to induce robust WT1-specific CD4+ and CD8+ T‑cell responses, overcoming immune tolerance and promoting targeted killing of WT1‑expressing tumor cells while also stimulating innate immunity in the tumor microenvironment.[3][9][11] The program leverages Advaxis’ Lm-based antigen delivery technology and has been pursued in collaboration with SELLAS Life Sciences as a WT1‑targeting immunotherapy for WT1‑positive cancers, conceptually related to—but mechanistically distinct from—peptide vaccines such as galinpepimut‑S.[5][11]
