LMNL6326 is an orally available, first-in-class small molecule antagonist of oxo-eicosanoid receptor 1 (OXER1), developed by Liminal BioSciences. It is being investigated as a potential treatment for eosinophil-driven diseases, including atopic dermatitis and eosinophilic asthma. The drug works by selectively blocking OXER1, a G protein-coupled receptor implicated in the recruitment and activation of eosinophils—a key driver in certain inflammatory conditions. As of June 2023, LMNL6326 has been nominated as the lead preclinical candidate for Liminal’s OXER1 antagonist program[1][4][5].
