LMP2 Antigen-specific TCR T cells is a T cell receptor engineered T cell therapy that targets the Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) latent membrane protein 2 (LMP2). This therapy involves genetically modifying T lymphocytes to express a T-cell receptor (TCR) specific for LMP2, which is expressed in EBV-associated cancers. Upon administration, these engineered T cells recognize and bind to LMP2-expressing cancer cells, promoting cell death and inhibiting tumor growth. The therapy is being developed primarily for recurrent and metastatic nasopharyngeal carcinoma with positive EBV infection.
