Drug intelligence / Profile preview
LMY-922 is an allogeneic, non-viral chimeric antigen receptor (CAR)-T cell therapy developed by Luminary Therapeutics. It is designed to target the B-cell activating factor receptor (BAFF-R), as well as BCMA (B-cell maturation antigen) and TACI (Tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 13B), making it a multi-targeted CAR-T therapy. The drug acts through immunologic cytotoxicity and T lymphocyte replacement mechanisms, aiming to treat autoimmune diseases by depleting pathogenic B cells. Its primary development focus has been on autoimmune disorders such as systemic lupus erythematosus and lupus nephritis. The product utilizes a universal CAR-T platform referred to as Gamma 2.0+ CAR T.
