Overview

LN-145 is an autologous cell therapy composed of tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs) that are isolated from a patient's own tumor tissue. These T cells are expanded ex vivo using a proprietary process and then infused back into the patient to mount an immune response against cancer cells. Unlike CAR-T therapies, LN-145 does not involve genetic modification; instead, it enriches for endogenous polyclonal CD4+ and CD8+ T cells while excluding regulatory T cells. The therapy is administered following non-myeloablative lymphodepleting chemotherapy and subsequent interleukin-2 support to promote TIL activation and persistence. LN-145 is being developed primarily for solid tumors including metastatic melanoma, cervical cancer, non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC), triple-negative breast cancer, ovarian cancer, sarcomas (including Ewing sarcoma), anaplastic thyroid cancer, among others[1][3][4][5].
