LN006 is a novel, narrow-spectrum small molecule antibiotic developed by Shanghai Huiyong Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. for the treatment of intestinal infections, specifically those caused by *Clostridioides difficile* (CDI). The drug is designed to selectively target the *C. difficile* pathogen while minimizing disruption to the host's commensal intestinal microbiota, which is a critical factor in preventing infection recurrence. LN006 is administered orally and has progressed into early-stage clinical trials to evaluate its safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetic profile in humans.
