Drug intelligence / Profile preview
lnc-CAF antisense oligonucleotide is an antisense oligonucleotide (ASO) designed to target and silence the long non-coding RNA lnc-CAF (also known as FLJ22447). lnc-CAF is a cancer-associated fibroblast (CAF)-derived exosomal long non-coding RNA that is upregulated in the tumor microenvironment of various cancers, including prostate cancer and oral squamous cell carcinoma. Mechanistically, lnc-CAF acts as a scaffold connecting BRD4 with CHD1, facilitating chromatin looping between enhancers and interferon-regulatory promoters, which suppresses innate immune signaling and promotes pro-metastatic transcriptional programs. ASO-mediated knockdown of lnc-CAF inhibits this pathway, restoring interferon pathway activity and reducing tumor invasion and metastatic burden.
