Drug intelligence / Profile preview
LNF1904 is a recombinant humanized bispecific antibody (BsAb) targeting CD19 and CD3, developed by Shandong New Era Pharmaceutical, a subsidiary of Lunan Pharmaceutical Group. It is designed for the treatment of various B-cell malignancies, including B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma (B-NHL) and B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL). As a T-cell engager, LNF1904 simultaneously binds to the CD19 antigen on the surface of B-lineage tumor cells and the CD3 epsilon subunit of the T-cell receptor complex on cytotoxic T-lymphocytes. This dual engagement bypasses the need for traditional major histocompatibility complex (MHC) recognition, facilitating the formation of an immunological synapse that triggers T-cell activation, proliferation, and the release of perforins and granzymes to induce apoptosis in the target B-cells. LNF1904 is currently being evaluated in Phase 1 clinical trials in China to determine its safety profile, pharmacokinetics, and preliminary anti-tumor activity in patients with relapsed or refractory disease.
