Drug intelligence / Profile preview
LNF2008 is an orally bioavailable small molecule inhibitor of the Fibroblast Growth Factor Receptor (FGFR) family, specifically targeting FGFR1, FGFR2, and FGFR3. Developed by Shandong New Era Pharmaceutical, a subsidiary of Lunan Pharmaceutical Group, LNF2008 is designed to treat advanced solid tumors characterized by FGFR genetic alterations, such as gene amplifications, mutations, or fusions. By binding to the kinase domain of these receptors, the drug blocks downstream signaling pathways, including the MAPK/ERK and PI3K/AKT cascades, which are essential for tumor cell proliferation, survival, and angiogenesis. LNF2008 is currently undergoing Phase 1 clinical trials in China to assess its safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and preliminary anti-tumor activity in patients with refractory solid tumors.
