Drug intelligence / Profile preview
LNF2401 is a recombinant humanized monoclonal antibody targeting coagulation Factor XI (FXI), currently under development by Shandong New Era Pharmaceutical (a subsidiary of Lunan Pharmaceutical Group) for the treatment of acute ischemic stroke (AIS). By inhibiting Factor XI, the drug aims to prevent thrombus formation and expansion within the cerebral vasculature while minimizing the risk of major bleeding, a common complication associated with traditional anticoagulants. The drug is being evaluated in Phase 1 clinical trials to assess its safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacodynamics in healthy volunteers, comparing intravenous and subcutaneous administration routes.
