Drug intelligence / Profile preview
LNK01003 is an oral, intestine‑restricted small‑molecule Janus kinase (JAK) inhibitor being developed by Lynk Pharmaceuticals for the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease, with a primary focus on ulcerative colitis.[2][10][13] Preclinical studies showed that LNK01003 achieves high intestinal exposure with low systemic absorption, aiming to deliver potent local JAK pathway inhibition in the gut while minimizing systemic immunosuppression and associated safety liabilities.[2][3][11][14] In a completed Phase I trial in healthy subjects in China, LNK01003 demonstrated favorable safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetic properties, and it is currently under evaluation in a Phase II clinical trial in patients with active ulcerative colitis.[4][7][10][13][15][17]
