LNP-GF CAR mRNA is a therapeutic modality that uses lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) to deliver messenger RNA (mRNA) encoding chimeric antigen receptors (CARs) to T cells. This approach aims to reprogram T cells in vivo to express CARs that target specific cancer antigens, potentially offering a more accessible alternative to conventional CAR T cell therapy which requires complex ex vivo manufacturing processes. The technology combines the targeted delivery capabilities of LNPs with the genetic instructions provided by mRNA to create CAR-expressing T cells capable of recognizing and eliminating cancer cells.
