LOAd700

LOAd700 is an oncolytic adenovirus developed by Lokon Pharma as part of its LOAd (Lokon Oncolytic Adenovirus) platform. It is a chimeric serotype 5/35 adenovirus engineered to selectively replicate in and lyse tumor cells with a defective retinoblastoma (Rb) pathway. The virus is armed with a transgene encoding a trimerized, membrane-bound version of CD40 ligand (CD40L), which acts as an agonist for the CD40 receptor on antigen-presenting cells (such as dendritic cells) and B cells. This dual mechanism aims to induce direct oncolysis while simultaneously stimulating a robust systemic anti-tumor immune response. LOAd700 has been studied in preclinical and early-stage research for various malignancies, including multiple myeloma and pancreatic cancer.
