Drug intelligence / Profile preview
A combination chemotherapy regimen consisting of lobaplatin, a platinum-based antineoplastic agent, and vinorelbine, a semi-synthetic vinca alkaloid. Lobaplatin forms DNA adducts that inhibit DNA synthesis and trigger apoptosis, while vinorelbine acts as an anti-mitotic agent by interfering with tubulin polymerization and microtubule formation during cell division. This combination has shown synergistic cytotoxic activity in vitro and enhanced antitumor activity in non-small cell lung cancer xenografts.
