Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Lock BsAb is a multi-specific immune-modulatory antibody candidate developed by PrecisemAb Biotech using its proprietary "Lock" platform. This therapeutic agent is designed to simultaneously engage five distinct pathways to enhance the anti-tumor immune response: it acts as an antagonist to the inhibitory checkpoints PD-1, CTLA-4, and CD47 (the "don't eat me" signal), while simultaneously serving as an agonist for the co-stimulatory receptors 4-1BB (CD137) and CD28. By combining checkpoint blockade with co-stimulatory activation in a single molecule, Lock BsAb aims to overcome the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment and provide a more potent and targeted activation of both the adaptive and innate immune systems against cancer cells.
