Drug intelligence / Profile preview
LockBody CD3 bispecific antibody is an investigational immuno-oncology agent developed by LockBody Therapeutics, a Centessa Pharmaceuticals company. It utilizes the proprietary LockBody® technology platform, which is designed to create "locked" antibodies that remain inactive in peripheral circulation and selectively "unlock" and activate within the tumor microenvironment. By targeting CD3 to engage T-cells specifically at the tumor site, the therapy aims to maximize anti-tumor effector function while minimizing systemic toxicities, such as cytokine release syndrome, commonly associated with traditional CD3-bispecific T-cell engagers. The program is currently in the preclinical stage of development.
