Overview

Lodapolimab (LY3300054) is a fully human IgG1λ monoclonal antibody that targets programmed cell death ligand 1 (PD-L1). It functions as an immune checkpoint inhibitor by binding to PD-L1 with high affinity and blocking its interaction with both PD-1 and CD80. This blockade reinvigorates tumor-specific T cells, enhancing antitumor immunity. Lodapolimab has been evaluated in phase I clinical trials as monotherapy and in combination with other agents such as ramucirumab, abemaciclib, merestinib, or other immunotherapies for advanced refractory solid tumors. The drug was developed by Eli Lilly and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute[3][5][6][8].
