Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Loesyn is a patented botanical dietary supplement ingredient developed by Unigen, Inc., specifically formulated to support healthy blood glucose levels and insulin sensitivity. It is a proprietary combination of Aloe chromone derived from *Aloe ferox* and *Aloe vera* leaf gel powder from *Aloe barbadensis*. The supplement functions by increasing the production of adiponectin and upregulating the expression of key genes involved in the insulin receptor signaling pathway, including the insulin receptor (INSR), insulin receptor substrate 1 (IRS1), and glucose transporter 4 (GLUT4). Loesyn is intended for use in individuals with prediabetes or metabolic syndrome to help maintain healthy fasting plasma glucose and improve glucose tolerance. It has been evaluated in human clinical trials demonstrating efficacy in reducing oxidative stress markers and supporting glucose metabolism.
