Overview
Lonca-81 is an antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) developed by Corellia AI for the treatment of hematologic malignancies. It utilizes the company's proprietary Coromip technology to conjugate a Cadherin-17 (CDH17) targeting antibody with the dual PI3K/mTOR inhibitor omipalisib (also known as compound '81') as the cytotoxic payload. By targeting CDH17, Lonca-81 is designed to selectively deliver the kinase inhibitor to malignant cells, inhibiting the PI3K/AKT/mTOR signaling pathway which is critical for tumor cell growth and survival, while potentially reducing the systemic side effects associated with traditional small-molecule kinase inhibitors.
