Long-Acting Amylin DACRA (Dual Amylin and Calcitonin Receptor Agonist) refers to a class of long-acting peptide therapeutics being developed by i2o Therapeutics for the treatment of obesity, type 2 diabetes, and other cardio-renal-metabolic diseases. By utilizing long-acting formulations, these candidates aim to provide extended dosing intervals (such as once-monthly or quarterly administration) and improved gastrointestinal tolerability compared to existing therapies. i2o Therapeutics acquired these cardiometabolic assets from Intarcia Therapeutics in August 2023.
