Longdan Xiegan Wan is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) herbal formulation manufactured by Shanghai Guangsheng Pharmaceutical (also known as Shanghai Huayuan Pharmaceutical Anhui Guangsheng Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.). It is an approved traditional multi-herb formula used to clear damp-heat from the liver and gallbladder. The formulation typically contains a complex mixture of herbal ingredients, including gentian root (Longdan Cao), bupleurum, gardenia fruit, scutellaria, and rehmannia. According to TCM principles, it is indicated for conditions such as dizziness, red eyes, tinnitus, ear swelling, and a bitter taste in the mouth resulting from liver and gallbladder damp-heat. It is administered orally in the form of traditional pills or granules.
