Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Longmalu Stomach Tablet (陇马陆胃药片) is a combination pharmaceutical product developed by Lanzhou Foci that integrates traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) with Western medicinal components. It is primarily indicated for the treatment of gastrointestinal disorders, including gastric and duodenal ulcers, chronic gastritis, and symptoms associated with gastric hyperacidity such as heartburn and stomach pain. The formulation contains millipede (*Kronopolites svenhedini*) powder, magnesium oxide, aluminum hydroxide, and belladonna extract. The belladonna component provides antispasmodic relief by antagonizing muscarinic acetylcholine receptors, while the magnesium and aluminum salts act as antacids to neutralize excess gastric acid. The millipede powder is included for its traditional therapeutic properties in harmonizing the stomach and relieving pain.
