Longmu Tang

Longmu Tang is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) herbal formula primarily used in China for the treatment of atopic dermatitis (AD), especially in children. It has been prescribed since 2008 and is available as a granule formulation. The formula is designed to exert anti-inflammatory effects, improve skin symptoms, and enhance quality of life for patients with AD[1]. Mechanistically, it appears to reduce serum levels of inflammatory cytokines such as immunoglobulin E (IgE), tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), interleukin-1 (IL-1), and interleukin-6 (IL-6)[1].
