Longteng Tongluo Formula (also known as Longteng Tongluo recipe or LTTL) is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) herbal formula developed by the Yueyang Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Affiliated to Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It is formulated as a decoction, tincture, or gel for external application (such as soaking of hands and feet). The formula consists of nine core herbal ingredients: *Lycopodiastrum casuarinoides* (Shenjincao), *Spatholobus suberectus* (Jixueteng), prepared *Aconitum carmichaelii* root (Zhichuanwu), *Cinnamomum cassia* twig (Guizhi), *Geranium wilfordii* (Laoguancao), *Epimedium brevicornu* (Xianlingpi), *Carthamus tinctorius* (Honghua), *Asarum sieboldii* (Xixin), and *Clematis chinensis* (Weilingxian). Longteng Tongluo Formula is primarily developed for the treatment of chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN), particularly oxaliplatin-induced peripheral neuropathy, and has also been evaluated for the management of cancer pain (such as lung cancer pain).
