Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Longui Yangxin Wan, also known as Taikong Yangxin Wan (Space Heart-Nourishing Pill), is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) oral herbal pill manufactured by Beijing Boran Pharmaceutical. The formulation is designed based on TCM principles to nourish the heart, replenish blood, and soothe the nerves. It gained significant recognition for its use in supporting the cardiovascular health and physiological functions of Chinese astronauts during space missions. Clinically, it is indicated for the treatment of symptoms such as palpitations, shortness of breath, insomnia, forgetfulness, and dizziness, which are traditionally attributed to heart-qi and blood deficiency. As a multi-herb TCM product, it functions through the synergistic effects of various botanical constituents rather than a single defined molecular target.
