Longzhong Xiaozhong Zhitong mixture (also known as LZXZ analgesic mixture or Xiaozhong Zhitong mixture) is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) hospital preparation developed by the Gansu Provincial Hospital of TCM. It is formulated with herbal ingredients including peach kernel (Tao Ren), safflower (Hong Hua), Angelica sinensis (Dang Gui), Ligusticum chuanxiong (Chuan Xiong), red peony root (Chi Shao), Rehmannia glutinosa (Di Huang), Panax notoginseng (San Qi), and Aucklandia lappa (Mu Xiang). The mixture is primarily used to promote blood circulation, resolve stasis, reduce swelling, and alleviate pain. It is clinically evaluated for the treatment of osteofascial compartment syndrome, soft tissue defects, diabetic foot ulcers, and acute traumatic synovitis.
