Overview
Lorajmine is a monochloroacetyl derivative of ajmaline, an alkaloid derived from the plant *Rauwolfia serpentina*. It functions as a potent Class Ia antiarrhythmic agent, primarily by blocking sodium channels in myocardial cells.
