Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Lorect is a hygienic-prophylactic nasal and throat spray developed by Farmstandart-Biolik and marketed by Vorwarts Pharma. It is formulated with Ectericid (products of the oxidation of fish oil) along with vitamins A, E, and D3. The active components, particularly carbonyl compounds formed during the oxidation of fish oil, exhibit local antiseptic and antimicrobial properties against common pathogens such as *Pseudomonas aeruginosa*, *Escherichia coli*, *Proteus* spp., *Staphylococcus* spp., and *Candida* fungi. Lorect is indicated for the relief of symptoms associated with acute and chronic inflammatory diseases of the nasopharynx and oral cavity, including rhinitis, sinusitis, tonsillitis, pharyngitis, and stomatitis, as well as for moisturizing and protecting the mucosal lining.
