Overview

low dose TPIV200 is a specific formulation of the TPIV200 cancer vaccine, a multi-peptide immunotherapy developed by Marker Therapeutics (formerly TapImmune). It consists of five peptides (FR30, FR56, FR76, FR113, and FR238) derived from the Folate Receptor Alpha (FRα) protein, which is frequently overexpressed in triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) and ovarian cancer. The 'low dose' version specifically contains 165 μg of each peptide (825 μg total) and is administered intradermally with GM-CSF (sargramostim) as an adjuvant. The vaccine is designed to elicit a robust, long-lasting adaptive immune response by activating both CD4+ helper T-cells and CD8+ cytotoxic T-cells to target and eliminate FRα-expressing tumor cells. It has been evaluated in Phase II clinical trials (e.g., NCT02593227) as a consolidation therapy for patients with Stage IIb-III TNBC following standard neoadjuvant or adjuvant treatment.
