LP-003

LP-003 is a next-generation humanized monoclonal anti-IgE antibody developed by LongBio Pharma for the treatment of allergic diseases. It is designed to bind immunoglobulin E (IgE), thereby inhibiting its interaction with IgE receptors and preventing the downstream allergic inflammatory cascade. Compared to first-generation anti-IgE therapies such as omalizumab, LP-003 demonstrates superior efficacy, a longer duration of action allowing dosing intervals of 2–3 months (versus 2–4 weeks for omalizumab), and a favorable safety profile. Clinical development includes indications such as food allergy (IND approved in China), chronic spontaneous urticaria (Phase II), allergic rhinitis (Phase III), and asthma (Phase II). The drug was generated and engineered by Dr. Sun Nai-chau, co-founder of Longbio Pharma and inventor of omalizumab[1][2][8].
