Overview

LP2307 is an allogeneic, cell-free, polyvalent cancer vaccine developed for the treatment of advanced melanoma. It is composed of Large Multivalent Immunogens (LMI), which are a complex collection of tumor-associated antigens shed by multiple cultured human melanoma cell lines into the supernatant. This preparation is designed to induce a broad-spectrum, polyclonal immune response against various melanoma-specific antigens simultaneously. LP2307 has been primarily evaluated in Phase II clinical trials at the University of Southern California (USC), often in combination with immunostimulatory cytokines like aldesleukin (Interleukin-2) to enhance the activation and proliferation of tumor-reactive T cells in patients with Stage IV melanoma.
