LPM7100328

LPM7100328 is an orally administered small molecule gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) receptor antagonist developed by Livzon Pharmaceutical. It functions by competitively binding to GnRH receptors in the pituitary gland, thereby inhibiting the release of luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH). This suppression leads to a rapid decrease in the production of sex steroids, such as estrogen and testosterone. The drug is currently in Phase 3 clinical development for use in assisted reproductive technology (ART) to prevent premature ovulation during controlled ovarian stimulation. Additionally, it is being explored for the treatment of other hormone-dependent conditions, including endometriosis, uterine fibroids, and prostate cancer, offering an oral alternative to traditional injectable GnRH therapies.
