Overview

LPX-TIGI is a preclinical, gut-restricted therapeutic candidate developed by LAPIX Therapeutics for the treatment of autoimmune and inflammatory diseases, including Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, peanut allergy, and celiac disease. The drug acts by downregulating T helper 17 (Th17) cells while upregulating regulatory B cells (Bregs) and regulatory T cells (Tregs), thereby promoting immune tolerance. The platform leverages co-presentation of foreign antigens with a Tim3/4 agonist to induce self-tolerance in the immune system[1][2][3].
