Drug intelligence / Profile preview
LQ080 is a preclinical bispecific VHH nanobody developed by Novamab, designed for the treatment of inflammatory conditions including Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) and Psoriasis. It simultaneously targets Tumor Necrosis Factor-like Ligand 1A (TL1A) and the p19 subunit of Interleukin-23 (IL-23p19). TL1A is a cytokine involved in modulating inflammation and fibrosis, particularly in the gut, while IL-23 is a key driver of the Th17 pathway associated with autoimmune diseases. By neutralizing both targets, LQ080 aims to provide a synergistic anti-inflammatory effect. The molecule is engineered for subcutaneous administration.
