Drug intelligence / Profile preview
LQ087 is a preclinical-stage bispecific VHH nanobody developed by Novamab for the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and psoriasis. It is uniquely designed for oral administration, aiming to provide localized therapeutic action within the gastrointestinal tract while improving patient compliance compared to injectable biologics. The molecule simultaneously targets and inhibits two key pro-inflammatory cytokines: tumor necrosis factor-like ligand 1A (TL1A) and the p19 subunit of interleukin-23 (IL-23p19). By blocking these synergistic pathways, LQ087 is intended to offer enhanced anti-inflammatory efficacy for chronic autoimmune conditions.
