Overview

LRK-A is a first-in-class targeted protein degrader that acts as an inhibitor of phosphatidylinositol-5-phosphate 4-kinase type 2 gamma (PIP4K2C). PIP4K2C has been identified as a cancer-intrinsic driver of immune evasion in both tumor and immune cells. By targeting and degrading PIP4K2C, LRK-A aims to disrupt this mechanism, potentially enhancing anti-tumor immunity. The drug is being developed primarily for the treatment of neoplasms, with a focus on colorectal cancer. It was initially developed by Larkspur Biosciences and is currently in preclinical development[1][2].
