Drug intelligence / Profile preview
LRRC15-CD3 is a preclinical-stage bispecific T-cell engager (BiTE) developed by NovaRock Biotherapeutics. It is designed to target Leucine-Rich Repeat Containing 15 (LRRC15), a protein highly expressed on the surface of cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAFs) within the tumor stroma and on certain mesenchymal-derived tumor cells, such as sarcomas. By simultaneously binding to CD3 on T-cells, the antibody recruits and activates cytotoxic T-lymphocytes to the tumor microenvironment, facilitating the targeted destruction of LRRC15-positive cells. This approach aims to address the immunosuppressive nature of the tumor stroma and provide a therapeutic option for sarcomas and other pan-solid tumors.
