LS-008 is an investigational small‑molecule oncology drug described as a dual inhibitor of phosphatidylinositol 3‑kinase beta (PI3Kβ) and polo‑like kinase 1 (PLK1), two kinases involved in PI3K/AKT signaling and mitotic progression that are frequently dysregulated in cancer.[3][7] It was initially developed by Changzhou Innoshengkang Biomedical Technology (also referred to as Changzhou Le Sun/Changzhou Le Sun Pharmaceutical) and out‑licensed to Yabao Pharmaceuticals for clinical development and commercialization in China, where it is positioned as an early‑stage targeted therapy candidate for solid tumors and hematologic malignancies.[3][5][11][13][15] By simultaneously blocking PI3Kβ‑mediated survival signaling and PLK1‑dependent cell cycle progression, LS‑008 is intended to induce cancer cell apoptosis and inhibit tumor growth, although detailed clinical data and specific lead indications have not yet been publicly disclosed.
