LS301 is a hydrophobic near-infrared (NIR) fluorescent probe composed of a NIR fluorescent dye (cypate) linked to an unnatural D-cysteine-containing cyclic octapeptide. It is developed as a fluorescence imaging agent for intraoperative visualization of tumors. The compound selectively binds to phosphorylated annexin A2 (pANXA2), which is overexpressed in various solid tumors and tumor-associated stromal cells. This selective binding allows for the delineation of tumor margins and improved accuracy during surgical resection. LS301 has been investigated primarily for image-guided surgery in breast cancer and lung cancer, with additional preclinical studies in gynecological cancers and other solid tumors. The developer is Integro Theranostics[1][2][4][5][7].
