Overview

LSA5-Biofusion is a next-generation dual-action malaria vaccine candidate developed by Vac4All in partnership with Sanofi. Utilizing the Biofusion platform, it is a protein subunit vaccine that targets the Liver-Stage Antigen-5 (LSA5). The vaccine is designed to provide comprehensive protection by addressing both the pre-erythrocytic (liver-stage) and blood-stage phases of *Plasmodium falciparum* infection through the STOPMAL and ADAMVAX mechanisms. It is currently in the preclinical and IND-enabling stage of development, with plans to progress into Phase 1 clinical trials.
