LSP-5415 is an investigational **combined hormonal contraceptive vaginal ring** developed by Lupin. It delivers the small-molecule hormones ethinyl estradiol and etonogestrel locally by the vaginal route. Ethinyl estradiol is an estrogen receptor agonist and etonogestrel is a progestin that activates the progesterone receptor; together, these hormones suppress the hypothalamic-pituitary-ovarian axis and inhibit ovulation.
