Overview

LSR-N-ab is an antibody directed against the extracellular N-terminal domain of the human lipolysis-stimulated lipoprotein receptor (LSR), a protein involved in regulation of epithelial barrier function via tricellular tight junctions. LSR-N-ab disrupts epithelial integrity, increases paracellular permeability, and induces apoptosis in endometrial endometrioid carcinoma (EEC) cells, primarily through modulation of signaling pathways such as JNK and Pyk2. It is being explored as a potential therapeutic to enhance chemotherapy or directly induce apoptosis in LSR-expressing cancers, especially EEC[1][3].
