LT-3002

LT-3002 is a novel small molecule drug candidate being developed by LTT Bio-Pharma for the treatment of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). It was identified through the company's drug repositioning (DR) approach as a derivative of existing approved drugs. LT-3002 functions as a potent antagonist of the human muscarinic M3 receptor (hM3R), serving as a long-acting bronchodilator. In preclinical models, the compound demonstrated superior anti-inflammatory effects compared to steroids and, notably, the ability to suppress pulmonary emphysema—an effect not shared by the standard-of-care long-acting muscarinic antagonist tiotropium bromide. It is currently in Phase 1 clinical development.
