Overview

LT6001 (also known as CS026) is a preclinical-stage, inducible exosome therapy derived from mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) being developed by Lumosa Therapeutics and its joint venture Cytoengine. Originally licensed from the National Health Research Institutes (NHRI) of Taiwan, the technology utilizes a proprietary method (involving a prostaglandin EP4 receptor antagonist) to stimulate MSCs to produce exosomes enriched with active substances that promote neural regeneration and repair. LT6001 is being developed for the treatment of neurological disorders, including brain injury, stroke recovery, and neurodegenerative diseases, aiming to combine the therapeutic benefits of stem cell therapy with the enhanced safety and targeted delivery profiles of cell-free exosome platforms.
