Overview

LTC002 is a protein analog of interleukin-2 (IL-2) featuring unique intramolecular disulfide bonds, developed by Leto Laboratories (Letolab). It functions as an agonist of the IL-2 receptor, designed to modulate immune responses by activating T-cells and natural killer (NK) cells for the treatment of solid tumors. In August, Letolab licensed the worldwide rights for the preclinical development, clinical research, and commercialization of LTC002 to TopAlliance (Junshi Biosciences) in a deal valued at over $150 million in total payments. The drug is currently in the IND-enabling/preclinical stage of development.
